Released in early 2014, Foreign Made is Poor Bishop Hooper’s first collection of recordings, and is based on the parables of Jesus. Comprised of eleven original songs, the artistic creation that comes to life throughout the record is broad and colorful. It tells unique stories from start to finish, yet its anecdotes together become a singular and powerful narrative. Its soundscape ranges from dark, contemplative melodies, to driving, string-band built ballads. Lyrics make up the foundation of the work, with great care given to their construction and subsequent prominence.
