A Meal of Remembrance Book
In the book of Exodus the LORD tells the Israelites to remember the Passover for all generations. As this command has been followed by practicing Jews over the years, a liturgy, called a 'Seder, was formed to guide the meal. A Meal of Remembrance uses the framework and tradition of the Seder, but celebrates Christ as the Passover lamb, shedding light on His fulfillment of both biblical prophecy and many of the mysterious Seder traditions.
Following this book's order, celebrants will remember spiritual facts by digesting metaphors. Participants read stories, sing or recite scripture, throw out leaven, search for missing bread and more as the story of the Passover is retold. Adding to the robust text, 81 illustrations add beauty and depth to the experience.
Our suggested donation for this resource will be $25, which covers your book and simultaneously allows us to share the book freely with those unable to pay.
Note: Following Jewish tradition, A Meal of Remembrance is written for a party of at least 10 people. Having this amount is not required, but suggested, so that every role can be assigned (children do go toward the headcount, as Reader 10 is specifically written for the youngest reader at the table). Because of this, our suggested donation if you buy 10 or more copies will be 50% less than if you buy one (for example, if you buy 10 copies we suggest $125.)
If you purchase 10 or more copies, simply put MEAL50 in the coupon code to receive half off. And if you'd like a free copy of the resource, please reach out.
We hope this resource can be a blessing to you, your family, and your church community for years to come!
